If you’re unsure whether it’s an emergency, call anyway. We’ll help you decide the safest next step and reduce the stress of guessing.
Fast Pain Relief
Our priority is to get you comfortable while addressing the source of the problem. That may include treating an infection, stabilizing a damaged tooth, or repairing a break to prevent it from getting worse.
We keep things clear and calm. You’ll know what we’re seeing, what it means, and what treatment can do for you before we begin.

Get Back to Your Day
Emergency visits should end with clarity. We’ll explain what needs attention today, what can be planned for later, and how to prevent the problem from returning.

Call Our Office
Call us as soon as you notice severe pain, swelling, or a broken tooth. If it’s after hours, leave a message and we’ll follow up as quickly as we can.
If a Tooth Is Knocked Out
Pick up the tooth by the crown only. Do not touch the root. If it’s dirty, rinse it gently with water and do not scrub it. If you can, place it back in the socket. If not, keep it moist in milk or saliva and bring it with you.
If a Tooth Is Cracked or Broken
Rinse gently with warm water and avoid chewing on that side. If there’s a sharp edge, cover it with dental wax or sugar-free gum to protect your cheek or tongue.
Manage Pain and Swelling
Use a cold compress on the outside of your cheek. You can take ibuprofen as directed on the label. Avoid aspirin, since it can increase bleeding.
Control Bleeding
Use clean gauze or a soft cloth and apply gentle pressure to the area. Hold pressure until bleeding slows. If bleeding is heavy or won’t stop, seek urgent medical care.

Your emergency visit may include:
- Tooth-colored fillings and restorations to repair chipped, cracked, or damaged teeth
- Crowns to protect teeth that are broken, fractured, or weakened

Frequently Asked Questions
What financing options are available for emergency treatment?
We offer flexible financing and payment options to help you fit care into your budget. Our team will walk you through choices and help you select what works best for you.
How much does an emergency dental visit cost?
Cost depends on your diagnosis and the treatment needed. We review your options and pricing before we begin, so you can make a confident decision.
Do you offer sedation for emergency dentistry?
Yes. We offer laughing gas and oral sedation to help reduce anxiety and keep you comfortable during treatment.
Do you accept insurance for emergency dental care?
Yes. We work with many insurance plans and will help you understand your benefits and coverage for emergency treatment.
Can you treat an abscessed tooth or gum infection?
Yes. Swelling, a bad taste, or a pimple-like bump on the gum can be signs of infection. We’ll identify the source and provide the right treatment to relieve pain and address the infection.
Is a cracked tooth an emergency?
It can be. Even small cracks can worsen quickly or expose the nerve. If you have pain, sensitivity, or a visible break, contact us so we can evaluate and protect the tooth.
Do you offer emergency dental appointments in Las Vegas, NV?
Yes. Call our office as soon as possible. We’ll guide you on what to do next and work to get you seen promptly based on your symptoms.
Will I need a root canal for emergency dental pain?
Not always, but sometimes. If the tooth is infected or the nerve is inflamed, a root canal may be the best way to save the tooth and relieve pain. We’ll confirm with an exam and X-rays.
What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?
Call immediately. Time matters. If you can, keep the tooth moist and bring it with you. Do not scrub it. We’ll tell you what to do based on the situation.
What should I do if I have a severe toothache?
Call us right away. Tooth pain can signal infection or damage that needs treatment. Until you’re seen, use a cold compress for swelling and avoid chewing on that side.
